  Focusing on the big picture of fulfilling the collective vision(s) of our organization and members, and on how to achieve them with our limited resources.
  
• Education and Outreach
  Bridging the gap between the experts who work in various fields of relevance to the the YWC vision, and the rest of us who are enriched, not only by what they have to tell us, but by the dialog which this communication establishes.
  
• Monitoring
  Coordinating the complex tasks of monitoring the health of the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems that comprise the Yuba watershed.
  
• Science
  Consulting on the techniques and methods employed in our efforts to quantify and understand the conditions present in this river basin.
  
• Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
  Applying stringent data quality assurance methods to members' data handling processes, to ensure that scientific rigour is maintained throughout.
